CASTING CIRCLES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
INTRODUCTION TO RESTORATIVE PRACTICES
Foundational Skills for Nurturing Relationships, Repairing Harm & Building Community
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
You chose your work because you believe in the power of relationships.
But the systems most of us work within weren't built with whole human beings in mind-- let alone the true complexity that is unleashed when you put people together! You're navigating relationships, power, conflict, harm.... every day. And few of us were given tools that are up to the task of confronting these realities,
You know there has to be a better way to show up with the people you serve. Something more human. More fair. More aligned with why you got into this work.
IMAGINE LEAVING THIS TRAINING WITH...
Tools you can use the very next day.

A clear framework for working with clients and communities.
Practical tools applicable across school, justice, family, and community settings

Language and structure for facilitating conversations that actually change something
Approaches to harm and conflict that build trust rather than erode it
THE TRAINING...
The only Restorative Practices training that counts toward your CEUs.
This is a live, interactive, half-day webinar. A participatory experience grounded in the belief that restorative work is best learned from a place of connection.
Restorative Practices are deeply aligned with the core values of the social work profession. Social justice. Human dignity. Agency and self-determination. The importance of relationships and community. This training gives those values practical form.
This training is for you if you work in:
Schools, juvenile justice, child welfare, community-based organizations, or family services.
Anywhere you work with adolescents, families, or communities.
Educators, counselors, supervisors, HR professionals, and community leaders are equally welcome. If your work involves people this training will serve you.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPLORE...
Five areas of learning.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT...
Two worlds. One Training.
Most restorative practices trainings are not designed with social workers in mind. Most social work CEU courses do not offer restorative content. This training sits at the exact intersection of both — grounded in the theory and ethics of social work, and rich with the practical tools of restorative practice.
It is also intentionally small, live, and participatory. You will not be watching a recording or clicking through slides alone. You will be learning alongside others, practicing skills in real time, and experiencing the relational format the training is teaching.
