WHAT IS
CASTING CIRCLES?
Casting Circles is a one-woman practice that offers fun, enlightening gatherings and professional development that empowers individuals and organizations to heal relationships, understand each other better and grow into their potential.
Join founder, Maria Scarangella, in creating a brighter, more harmonious future—one circle at a time!
WHAT ARE
CIRCLES?
Circles are spaces of connection, storytelling, and transformation. Derived from indigenous cultures throughout the world at their heart, circles offer us the rare chance to slow down and listen. A chance to return to a way of being that existed before our worth became dependent on our productivity. The power of Circle comes from your honesty, openness, and vulnerability. What you put into the Circle shapes what you get out of it!
Circle is a living cauldron of thought, feeling, voice, and lived experience. From it, we draw meaning, healing, and connection. Over time, it becomes a place where community grows roots, and where you may discover profound, unexpected resonance with others.
Show up as you are. Listen with your whole self. Trust the process.
MISSION + VISION
Casting Circles' mission is to create opportunities for people to learn, remember, and revive their innate ability to be in authentic, nourishing, interdependent relationships.
Through training and curated experiences we seek to equip people with the confidence and skills to bring these ways of being back to their schools, workplaces, families, and communities and there build a future for all people that is more just and compassionate.

The time for the lone wolf is over.
Gather yourselves! Banish the word struggle from you attitude and your vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are the ones we've been waiting for!

This work is deeply personal for me, reflecting my own journey of using relationships, community, and conflict as teachers.
I am devoted to helping individuals turn toward each other and greet conflict as an opportunity to transform the future. I revel in creating spaces where people can explore and reveal themselves. Where we can remember what we all have in common and from that place, we can co-create new, more supportive realities.
